We recently discovered a 2009 blog post in which Smallville extra Josh Barkey talkes about meeting Allison while working on the Smallville set. It’s a lovely read about a missed opportunity.

My curiosity was piqued, I googled her and found she had a website… a blog. It turns out this Allison Mack was not just some Five-in-a-Can TV Blonde, she was an artist and a thinker – an intriguing person. It is just possible, in fact, that if I hadn’t been such a dink on that set, we might’ve had a brief but interesting conversation. I might have even learned something.

The legendary ladies are at it again! Legendary Women Inc. and Clana forum SWEET are partnering up to raise money for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

Fans of the television show Smallville have banded together to raise money for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and to honor two of their favorite characters, Lana Lang (played by Kristin Kreuk) and Chloe Sullivan (played by Allison Mack). The fundraiser, sponsored by Legendary Women, Inc. and Sweet, will run from January 12 to February 12, 2012. All monies raised will be donated to the Reeve Foundation on February 20, 2012.

“There’s a tradition of Smallville fans raising money for the Reeve Foundation,” says Carolyn West of Legendary Women, Inc. “It started in 2003 when Christopher Reeve first appeared on Smallville and it’s estimated fans have raised $7,600.00 over the years. In 2010 Legendary Women, Inc. turned it into an annual event and last year we were able to personally present actress Allison Mack with a certificate showing how much had been donated.”

You can contribute to the fundraiser by donating through PayPal at fundraising@legendarywomen.org or by going directly to the donation page of The Reeve Foundation’s website and taking the time to add a note indicating that they’re donating as part of the Smallville fundraiser.

There are also two raffles, one with prizes featuring Lana Lang/Kristin Kreuk and the other with prizes featuring Chloe Sullivan/Allison Mack. Tickets for the raffle ($5) can be purchased at www.legendarywomen.org.

According to Superman site superman-movie.com there have recently been rumors that Smallville’s very own Chloe Sullivan will make a cameo in the new Superman movie, Man of Steel.

Rumors started swirling after a picture of a not so closed set revealed that the Superman crew was filming at the Sullivan family business: Sullivan truck and tractor repair. Could the Gabe Sullivan mystery finally be solved?!

For a decade Chloe Sullivan played one of Supermans best friends in the TV show. She quickly became one of the shows most solid characters and helped the Blur become Superman. For the new generation of Superman fans she is one of the biggest influences on his time in Smallville.

There have been rumors recently that Chloe Sullivan may be coming to the comics in the near future but it appears she may also have a part in the new Superman movie too.

Man of Steel has a 2013 release date.
